My Initial Thoughts on Teaching

I am almost three weeks into the certification program and I have learned so much already. If the general public had any idea how much work teachers actually do they would be astonished. Sooo much goes into what they do, how they do it, and how long it takes to create meaningful learning. I have a new-found respect for all the teachers out there who work so hard for their students year after year. It also reminds me of all the activities and energy my past teachers put into my many years of education. How hard they worked for someone who they would get nothing tangible back from in the long run. How excited and dedicated they were every day and only now I am able to think back on all they have done. So THANK YOU to all my wonderful, passionaite, committed, prepared, and educated teachers who put so much into me with such little in return!!!!
